- Visual aids are being used to inform children who are not yet able to read the time whether or not it’s time to get out of bed
- The visual language is taken from other aspects of day-to-day life that young children are familiar with, eg. smiling faces, green means go, sun and moon imagery
- Parents are able to control the day and night timings
- Clocks are combined with other sleep aids including nightlights with timer functions and lullabies
- Clocks have optional programmable nap timers with alarms
- Designs incorporate interchangeable facades, meaning that they can transform to suit the changing tastes of the child
